overclocking while going through some pages i read that its always better to have test capability or stability for overclocking so that you can get the idea for overclocking values. but which are the best application to use for this purpose ? You can try RivaTuner download from here also use cpuz which is benchmark application that normally use while overclocking where RivaTuner is basically use for graphics card overclocking. also see this Back up Schedules of RivaTuner You want natural over clocked system also 24 / 7 is running well. As you turn to achieve the following programs: •MemTest86 + •CPU-Z •Prime95 •Core Temp To test stability, use one of the above programs. MemTest 86 turn without your Windows startup and to use the memory stability test. Prime95 can be used for the processor and memory to be tested simultaneously. Immediately after the launch of Windows loading your CPU-Z. If CPU-Z shows the correct values to start Prime95 and let it with "X" (X = number of cores your processor) workers run simultaneously. Choose the option for maximum heat generation. Prime is particularly suited to see if the system is stable for everyday use. Let Prime95 run every fifteen minutes time to the maximum speed you think you have found. Turn Prime95 least one hours, but rather one hours or four to see if your system is stable. Meanwhile you can monitor temperatures in Core Temp or using a tool from your motherboard manufacturer. keep temperatures below 60 degrees to keep. http://install-how.blogspot.com/2010/06/overclocking-stability-testing.html
